Church of the Nativity

Here are some pictures from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. The main entrance to the church is called the "door of humility" - and it's small. The church itself is divided into different sections as the Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Armenian Orthodox churches all claim jurisdiction in the church. The highlight of the church is the grotto, which is where Jesus is said to have been born and laid to rest. Needless to say, access to the grotto is difficult during the day because of the huge influx of tourists/pilgrims that visit the site. Oh, and don't eat in Manger square either - the prices are about 3 times higher than other restaurants in the city.
